The First Month
This document stands as a goal we ought to aspire to, even if we do not succeed at the pace we originally intended, so that our region has a focused direction for its development. Our first month will be a very time consuming month, but we have already done so much. So far we have established a forum, a Discord, have an automatic recruitment script running, and are putting the finishing touches on the Constitution. However, there is still much to be done.
Finalize the Constitution - March 31st
We are close to being finished and hopefully only need to add some final details.
Hold the First Chancellor Election - April 6th
The election will begin on the 6th and end on 9th. MPs will announce their candidacy following the ratification of the Constitution.
Establish Ministry of Recruitment - April 10th
Following the conclusion of the Chancellor election, I hope to have a Ministry of Recruitment established. Its goal will be to educate citizens on recruitment techniques and encourage them to help the cause.
Establish Ministry of Internal Affairs - April 13th
The Ministry of Internal Affairs will strive to foster activity and camaraderie in Saarland and to ensure the smooth functioning of the executive bureaucracy.
Pass Criminal Code - April 20th
By this point I encourage Parliament to pass the foundations for a criminal code outlining regional conduct that is neither unnecessarily restrictive nor too lenient. We want our region to foster open discussions free from toxic or evil influence.
Establish the Saarlandic Military - April 20th
Around this same time, I will announce the basic organization structure of the Saarlandic Military and begin recruitment and training.
Reach Fifty Nations - April 27th
In one month's time I hope to reach fifty nations. This may not seem like much, but reaching fifty nations would put us in the top 300 regions - that's the top 1.3% of regions. The threshold for top 1% is 59 nations. For top 0.5% it's 116. For top 0.1% it's 520. In other words, 50 nations is a milestone, and we'll be doing better than most regions ever have, but we still have a long way to go. And reaching 50 nations won't be easy - we have to consistently recruit and give players a reason to stay to get to that point.
This rough plan lays the groundwork for how our region will advance, and I hope you will join me in the quest to make Saarland great.
